In this section you will enter the following fields:
Creation Method:
Option 1: Salesforce Report
Option 2: Consecutive Task
If you choose to create QTasks using a Salesforce report, then you need to specify which Salesforce Report to use, the primary object type of the report and how often you want the report to be run.
Please note that Salesforce only allows 500 report runs every hour. Setting the Frequency to 30 minutes would give you a maximum of 250 QTypes that can be initiated using a Salesforce report.
If you set the Primary Object to Custom Object, you need to enter the API name of the Custom Object. You must also create a lookup field on the QTask object to reference the custom object and add it to the custom metadata setting mapping. Please see using custom objects section.
If you set the creation method as a Consecutive Task, then a QTask of this type will be created when a previous QTask Status changes to Needs Review or Approve / Complete.
You can chain many QTypes together by creating a Next QType and specifying what status should create the consecutive task.
On the QType Record create a new Next Task Type
Create a New Task Event. Look at the current example below. When an Exception Case status is Approved, a consecutive QTask with a type of Follow Up on Escalation Case will be created and assigned to the proper queue.
